Description

The Waianae Moku Perimeter Route uses mostly roads, the trail around Kaena Point, and the West Loch Bike path to circumnavigate the Waianae Region (Moku) of Oahu. Similar to the Oahu Perimeter Route, it can start and end from any point along the route as long as the start and end are the same location, and it completes the entirety of the Loop. The .GPX file of the route is barely incomplete, as the route map creation system does not allow you to connect West Kapolei to Ko Olina resort, but you will connect the two points to complete the roughly 100km route using the dirt road that connects the Ko Olina tracks to the West Kapolei Costco (just like the Oahu Perimeter Route).

There is one big climb out of Haleiwa up to Wahiawa, followed by a big descent to Pearl City, which can become real hot if done in the day. The West side can also become quite hot in the afternoon, so pick your poison.
