Description

Starting from the Wandi Pub, the route circumnavigates the beautiful Wandiligong Valley. After 600m on Growlers Rd, you take a right up the Mt Ebenezer climb. A beautiful 10km and 1000m climb to Mt Ebenezer where you can see across to the Mountains and back through the valley towards Bright. After savouring your effort up the main climb, take a right onto Wet Gully Track for a well deserved undulating descent. After roughly 5km, you will come to a T-intersect where you turn left onto Albion Track and begin a climb taking in 2 unnamed peaks. Staying right on Albion Track, you will then come to Demon Ridge Track which, if desired, would take you all the way to Clearspot via an undulating ridge track passing over many unnamed high points continuing to give amazing views of the valley from which you've worked so hard to get up from. Around the 30km mark you reach the highest point after Mt Ebenezer, an intersection with Branch Creek Track, and the start of an undulating descent towards Wandi. After a gradual climb from 38km to 40km, you turn right off Demon Ridge Track and go down, fast. Dropping 500+m in 2.5km you are spat out back in the valley, then taking a left and a right onto Brown Road. Following this you'll shortly come across Jagoes Gully Road on your right through the trees, then keeping right onto Fredos Ln, before taking a left turn on Morses Creek Rd until you are back to the pub where you can enjoy a very well earnt beverage of choice.

This a beautiful loop showcasing the best of the Wandi Valley but please be mindful that it is very hard to access and has NO WATER spots so take everything you need for this stunning route.
