Description

The route on the Cornish coast encircles the area known as West Penwith by following the south-west coast path and crossing between the coasts via St Michael’s way, itself a well known route and FKT.

This section of the south west coast path features some of the most rugged and spectacular terrain in Cornwall whilst also passing through some tourist hot spots such as St Ives and Penzance. The terrain varies between tracks, fields, beaches and boulders.

It is very easy to cache food/water or resupply at shops along the route. It’s possible to start the route anywhere along its length, although beginning at Lands End itself seems the most aesthetic option.
