Description

The Yorkshire Wolds Way National Trail starts by the River Humber at Hessle, passing under the Humber Bridge before turning in land, heading for rolling, chalk grassland valleys. The route passes through tranquil countryside where wildlife can be spotted.  The villages the trail goes through offer opportunity for refreshment together with interesting churches, remains of medieval villages and long views.  The Yorkshire Wolds Way offers hills with great views as it passes through valleys and farm land heading towards the coast at Filey which is a stunning finishing point.
