The original Route is Brienzergrat: https://fastestknowntime.com/route/brienzergrat-switzerland

The Swiss Classic. Begin the route from the Harder Kulm TH and grind away more than a VK to gain the ridge. Once past an alpine pasture, the remainder of the route essentially stays on the ridgeline, with lots of exposure on both sides. Sure footedness is essential. There are some chains to aid particularly steep sections. You will likely encounter sheep, cows, and if fortunate, ibex. A heart throbber end to end. Do not attempt when rainy/wet, as a slip in some places would be grim. There is no water on route, so plan accordingly. The definitive guide and drool-inducing photography of the route can be found at:

Wow, the Hardergrat looks incredible! I'm curious about the different routes https://fastestknowntime.com/route/hardergrat/basketball stars you can take—do you think some are more scenic than others? I once hiked in the Alps and got lost; it was both terrifying and breathtaking! What do you recommend for a first-timer on Hardergrat?
