Description

This route starts in the Fujairah coast and ends on the border of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, during the journey the runner passes across all 7 Emirates. This challenge is becoming popular in the region as it showcases all parts of the beautiful landscape. From running through the busy skyscrapers of Dubai, to tackling the big hills in Fujairah amongst the mountains, the vast changes in scenery make this route special.

Beginning Saturday 21st February 2026, Michael Logue will be attempting to set a new FKT for the Seven Emirates Crossing. I (Chris Taylor, TaylorMade Coaching & Events) have organised the attempt and will be there throughout the entire challenge.

Michael will be setting off at 05:00 on the 21st and is aiming for just under 5 days completion time. If anyone would like to track, you can follow Michael's progress here: https://live.adventuretracking.be/7-emirates

Tracking is provided using satellite tech, so we should have signal at all times (the tracking is set to share location fixes every 2 minutes). Michael will be recording GPS evidence of his attempt using two GPS watches.
