Description

The objective is to cross Texas on foot, on roads, at its widest point by the shortest means / time possible in the safest practical way. Any route across the widest part of the state that does not make substantial use of illegal, dangerous, or private roads should be considered equivalent. Runner may select route -- does not have to be the exact GPX uploaded here.  Approx. 850 miles.

I'm curious about this as well, did he not document the distance accurately enough for FKT?

hello, yes, and someone else ran it faster than I did, but sometimes the work of submitting all the work on FKT is just too tedious. Having having the FKT was never my biggest priority, but this record unofficially has been broken but glad to see Don and Ethan still have the record they are both great runners and people!Â
