The route starts on the south side of town at the intersection of Fairground Rd. and Main St. and runs to Woodstock Tower Rd and over the Massanutten mountain and until the end of Woodstock Tower Road in Ft. Valley, make a quick turn right to the Ft. Valley Country store and turn around and run back.
This route is really cool, because you can run from one small town (Woodstock, VA) over a mountain to another small town (Ft. Valley, VA). Both of these towns can be seen from the Woodstock tower at the top of the mountain (though the Woodstock tower segment is not part of this FKT.
This run is extra beautiful to run in the late Oct/early Nov time frame as it's peak fall foliage at this time.

I think this will be a beautful and fun route from one small town to another in Shenandoah county over the Massanutten mountains. I've wanted to do this run for a while and excited to go out and give it a go tomorrow morning on 11/15/25.
Just found this while browsing the FKT route map. I live about 30 minutes from Woodstock and I think today’s too beautiful to not go give this a rip this afternoon (10/26/26)
