This is a classic scramble on the Tenmile Range linking Pacific & Atlantic Peaks from Mayflower Gulch. It combines two summits, with a descent of one of the coolest class 2 ridges in the state, down the West Ridge of Atlantic. While on a Class 3 scramble the west ridge offers some real intimidation with several exposed moments. It is a little short but the steepness and the vertical make it truly a great route for anyone to do.
Great route with some fun scrambling on solid rock. Hard to move quickly through a lot of it due to awkward sized talus. but you can make up time on the 1.5 mile section of road at the base.Â
