The Cross Vermont Trail is a project to build a multi-use, four season path across the width of Vermont; following the Winooski River and Wells River valleys and connecting communities and the natural areas between. The trail is currently a ~90 mile route from Wells River to Burlington, VT. It is a combination of trails, gravel road, paved road and paved bike path, with plans eventually to build new trail to remove the road sections.
See the Cross Vermont Trail Association for more.
(Trail is "Cross Vermont" but our route Title is "Trans-Vermont" in order to standardize our listings to be able to Search for this type of route).
On December 29th of 2020 I completed this route unsupported with a time of 3 days 7 hours and 8 minutes. I unfortunately did not think to record the trip.
