Description

Out-and-back route passing three beautiful lakes. The trail is easy to follow but technical with some sections that allow a decent running pace.  Begin at the Beaver Lake TH at Beaver Creek ski resort, turn around when you reach the upper lake (you do not have to run part way or all the way around the lake).

After reaching Upper Turquoise Lake, both Steve Kleiboeker and I traveled along the west side of the lake before turning around (see GPS track above). However, the main trail seems to terminate at the north edge of the lake. Beyond here, you'd be traversing social trails and the boulders you see in the photos above. That said, for future attempts, I personally think it would suffice to turn around at the northern edge of the lake.
