has this been done yet or is it just an idea for the moment?

I have done it as one peak a day over 5 consecutive days. The mileage listed is actual trail miles and does not include transportation (driving) between the actual trailheads. I am hoping to do it in one haul in the spring if all of the trails are open then (Romero Canyon is currently closed do to the fire we had this summer).

Starting tomorrow my husband John and I will be attempting the Tucson 5, supported (driving between peaks).  Tracker will be active during the climbs:

Just a little early summer heat training!

Starting at 8pm tonight (Thanksgiving 2023) myself and Peter Davidson will be making a supported attempt at the Tucson Five. We’ll be tracking during the effort using a garmin inReach connected to CalTopo (https://caltopo.com/m/8D13P) as well as posting on Strava. Should be near perfect weather and hopefully low traffic while driving around on Black Friday.

Going to start a supported attempt of the Tucson 5 around 8 am 11/30/24. Weather looks beautiful! Here is some tracking and will be on Strava as well. share.garmin.com/XNHHK
