Kaleetan Peak is an imposing rocky horn in the Snoqualmie Pass region of the central Cascade range. From the parking lot at the Denny Creek trailhead, off exit 47 of I-90, ascend the popular Denny Creek Trail to Melakwa Lake. Cross the lake's outlet stream and follow a climber's bootpack up the ridge to your left (west side of the lake). Follow this unmaintained trail over the first major prominence as it drops partially down onto the western slope of the ridge and across a talus field before turning back uphill for the final push to the summit. The climber's trail requires comfort on talus, and the final summit gully is a (relatively easy) class 3 scramble.

This route is approximately 5.5 miles each way with a net elevation difference of over 3,900' between trailhead and summit.

I wasn't able to find any posted women's times under 5 hours, but I'll link to this run by Mallory and Jason Brooks (mixed gender team). Their elapsed time of 4:08:46 is strong, although the time and gps track start a little ways up the trail, probably at least 10 minutes in from the trailhead, I expect. I would guess that they probably made the round trip in about 4:20, faster than any other woman's time I found, but I haven't submitted it as an FKT because of the incomplete route from the beginning.
