Description

The Blue Mountain section is one of nine sections of the 890km Bruce Trail, Canada's longest and oldest marked trail. This section is an approximately 67km section of trail starting at the end of the Dufferin Hi-Land section. More specifically, it starts in Lavendar and ends just past the top of Blue Mountain Resort. From the Trail the expansive views of the rolling countryside and the Nottawasaga Bay are lovely. This beautiful section travels through Noisy River Provincial Park, Nottawasaga Bluffs, Devil's Glen Provincial Park, Nottawasa Lookout Provincial Park and Pretty River Provincial Park. The Trail in this section is set among high bluffs interspersed with deep wide valleys.
