Nice and easy local trail system that's totally different from the nearby, granite-peaks of the Trinity Alps.
After having a couple of big vert days, it was nice to have some cruiser trails to get some recovery miles in.
I started off pretty fatigued and moving slow. I considered stopping at about 3 miles in and taking more of a rest day, but continued on anyway. There's lots of trails that kind of criss-cross the main trail and I took a wrong turn once. However, with a gpx track it's pretty easy to follow.
I took the big loop first and the small loop second so that I could get a majority of the climbing out of the way while I still felt "fresh".
