The tallest in the Sawtooths! What a fun mountain. It felt good to run light and fast. I carried 200ml of water and 200calories and nothing else. I nailed the line on the ascent and then botched it a little bit on the descent. I lost 2-3minutes from the slabs to the meadow before the trail. Scouted it once and found the best route for this and it paid off. I think it goes close to 2 hours for someone with a really strong uphill. I averaged 6:35 pace for the last 4 miles of trail which I definitely felt ha! This effort made me want to start training my uphill speed more so I can aim for bigger profile mountain objectives in the future.
It took 3 years for someone to go for this FKT since Tom Neslon so I'm hoping someone else comes in to send sooner than that!
Cheers
