The Wilson River Traverse is a 22.6mi long route along the beautiful Wilson River in the Oregon Coast Range. If done as an out-and-back (aka Yo-Yo), it's 45.2mi with 7,900ft of elevation gain.
On Jan 2, 2016, I set out to beat my solo and unsupported 2014 record of 9h30min (Strava). I started from the Elk Creek Trailhead, ran 22.6mi to the Keenig Trailhead, and returned to the Elk Creek Trailhead.
I managed to set a new solo and unsupported FKT in 08:24’14 (Movescount time). See report for more details: www.christofteuscher.com/aagaa/new-wilson-river-traverse-yo-yo-fkt-0824
