Following in the tracks of Jason! We arrived at the National Park one day prior to the road opening for the season, so we figured this was the perfect day to do the duathlon. Clear road with no cars- sounded great to us! This was Erin's first time doing any sort of bike to hike sort of effort. There is lots of room to shave off the bike up, run, and bike down- we didn't push the intensity too much on any of the legs. There was still quite a bit of snow on the Lassen climb so we just put spikes on and went directly up the ridge. Fun adventure day in the mountains!
