Chris and I had run this canyon a couple days prior and it ended up being one of our all time favorite slots. It is not the most narrow, but the oasis at the end is unbelievable. We started at 8am- early enough to avoid the brutal heat on the run out, yet late enough where the swimming sections were not too cold. We worked really well as a team setting up and cleaning the raps. We did not go all out, so somebody really fast who is versed in canyoneering techniques could easily shave off a lot of time.
