Not the first time running in the mountain of Jämtland and I have been considering Vålådalsfyrkanten for a while. The only obstacle this time was two consecutive days with 18 hours of running almost 100K of mountain routes. So this FKT will not be the fastest, and we are probably not the first ones to run this classical route but maybe the first to submit a FKT. Showers was expected during the day but we managed to only have less than one hour left when it started to rain. First mountain cabin is Lunndörren, then Vålåstugorna and last Stensdalen. We only stopped for a few minutes outside each cabin to eat some sandwich or small cakes that we were carrying. The single tracks are beautiful and less used, compared to Jämtlandstriangeln. Easy with water supply in streams, only one soft flask used. Some wading but nothing difficult, and a few bridges cross bigger streams.
