While taking a vacation to the Island Gotland I looked up some places to have a running adventure. Got word about running around Fårö so I started to plan for that challange. Early morning I took the Ferry to Fårö and began my trip. The goal was to have the sea all the time at my right side. Most of the part it was possible but sometimes it was not possible due to private property along the coast. The trip was very beautiful with long beaches, small forest trails, stone fields, a lot of sheep and the signature stone formation of Gotland/Fårö (Rauks). I brought around three litres of water and snacks. There was some cafeterias on the way where i did some refil of water. Water was the hardest thing to come by.
To summerize, a wonderful trip but also challenging due to the terrain (especially the stone fields).
