FKT: Luke Warner - Tanawha Marathon (Double Traverse) North-South-North - 2023-07-16

I began with Michael Howard at the beginning of Tanawha Trail a little after 12:45. It was a warm day and the trail was a little overgrown, but going out went well. At the end of the trail, I went a little past the turnaround, but was able to find my way to the Beacon Heights parking area, where my wife, Danielle, was crewing us. On the way back, I pushed through some cramping and a few falls and met Danielle again at the Boone Fork Overlook intersection to receive additional aid. From there, I continued on Tanawha before finishing back at the start!
