This seems like a saner version of the Rainier Infinity Loop, albeit still pretty big. Especially coming up from Tucson a couple days before - nothing like 2 ascents up to >12,600' in 24 hours to get started on acclimation for the summer!
Friends Andrew and Kiefer came with me for the first half, while John crewed for us and also accompanied me on the 2nd climb. Huge help that was much appreciated.
We had perfect weather, light winds on top of the mountain (always a question), a warm afternoon that was tempered by all the lovely trees in the northern loop, a gorgeous sunset, and a calm night. Waterline is very long but at least it was dark. Kachina Trail is really something, and why do I always stick it at the end? Overall I felt slow but steady. Happy to finally complete this after pondering the idea for quite some time!
