Fun loop, even in the rain. With all the creek crossings, maybe even better in the rain because you don't mind the wet feet as much. I started at the Chinnabee Silent Trail TH and went counter-clockwise to hit the biggest fords first-thing, just in case the water levels were too high to comfortably cross. No issues with that today. My husband John ran with me for the first 5 miles, then he had some fun doing trail work on the way back. I continued on, enjoyed the afternoon, found the Pinhoti not quite as rocky as I thought it might be, had a solid climb up to Rocky Top, got rained on more and more as I got closer to the end, and then I was back where I started. Someone could certainly improve upon my time, perhaps even me on a sunny day. Good loop, y'all should try it!
