Super route! Absolutely gorgeous.
It's a bit early in the season (at least this season with all the late winter snow) and there were many snow sections of various sizes and slopes. Ice axe definitely needed, but no foot traction required. Quite slow going in places. Even padding my time for route conditions I ended up taking quite a bit longer than expected. On the plus side, there are plenty of streams flowing and water available.
I ran it supported with my husband accompanying me up to Static Peak, as I'm still learning how to travel on steeper snow. He also met me at Lupine Meadows for food/water resupply.
I started at Death Canyon TH and traveled CW.
