This FKT was run in a clockwise direction.
Steve Woolley and I set out to run through the Glasshouse Mountains National Park and Beerburrum West State Forest on a set route to take in the majestic Glasshouse Mountains with a view to training for the Noosa Ultra-Trail 50km race.
The course was fairly muddy and would be a lot faster in dryer conditions, with large puddles to navigate around trying not to get wet. It was very humid as can be expected in Queensland in Summer.
This was a fully self-supported run, each of us carrying water in a bladder in our back packs and food supplies for the run.
Due to the heat and humidity, the route was fairly hard and taxing on the body.
