The San Francisco @CrosstownTrail is a brilliant little 16 mile route from Candlestick Point in the southeast to Land's End in the northwest, connecting San Francisco neighborhoods, open spaces, and other major trails. The journey reflects an interesting contrast across San Francisco, one that we too often overlook or ignore. There is such a vast change from the impoverished yet proud neighborhoods of Candlestick & Bayview over to multi-million dollars homes of the Presidio and Seacliff. Some of these areas are quickly changing in this era of gentrification. Makes me think back to @RickeyGates and his #everysinglestreet film, where he reminds us to open up our eyes to seeing lesser known parts (and people) in our cities. Run, walk, hike or bike the Crosstown Trail (or parts of it). Go for a wander in your local greenbelt or open space. Say hello to the stranger you meet at the street corner #neverstopexploring #sanfrancisco #urbanexploration #trailrunning #sfcrosstowntrail
Thanks for joining me on the bike and for the 📸 @tonywithasony
Sidenote: Candlestick Point has the fattest squirrels. Holy moly!
