I followed David's submitted route to the letter: starting and ending at the Loj, go to Marcy Dam, Avalanche Pass Trail, Lake Arnold, Marcy Trail up to the summits of Gray, Skylight, and Marcy (in that order) and returning down the Van Hoevenberg trail.
I ran the Gray/Skylight/Marcy loop unsupported on 6/18/19 in 4h51m27s.
Another beautiful day to scamper across some high peaks. I ran into an old friend who is the summit caretaker on Marcy, and we spent a few minutes checking out rare dwarf birch species.
