Having checked through Strava CR history and any round trip race history on the peak I have been unable to find a historical faster time. However, there are many, many stronger runners in AK. I’m sure it has been done faster and that this time won’t stand for long.
As for my day, I started at the parking lot around 10:30am, honestly great weather, very low wind. I started with around 200ml water. Otherwise I carried a Maurten 100caf, 1 electrolyte pack, some spray, and a phone. I refilled about 400ml before the picnic table and got a touch more at the same place on the descent. Otherwise, that is it for water. I ditched my vest at the saddle to lighten the load to the summit. An absolute favorite trail and peak, I love this mountain!
