I started the route in Neureut and ran clockwise. Sunday morning was a good choice as there was little traffic. Weather was perfect, cool and just a little rain at the beginning. There were few muddy sections along the Alb river.
I ran by myself and brought / carried water with me.
The northern and eastern part of the loop was not at all busy, as it was early. Along the Alb river was busy with runners and hikers.
