Route: Adirondack Rail Trail

Completed in 2025, the Adirondack Rail Trail runs 34 miles between the old train stations in Tupper Lake and Lake Placid. This trail offers endless views of beautiful ponds and lakes that flank the trail. The trail is mostly crushed stone dirt, with a couple miles paved in the Saranac Lake area. This route can be completed either direction, starting in Lake Placid and going west, or starting in Tupper Lake and going east. https://www.adirondackrailtrail.org
