Description

The Annandale Way, the Way is a 56 mile walking trail which was formally opened in 2009 it starts in the market town of Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway Scotland and finishes south of small town of Annan on the sea shore at village of Newbie, it is normally walked over 4 to 5 days. It takes in a number of South West Scotland beauty spots, including the Devil's Beef Tub, Lochmaben Castle, Hoddam Castle, a Loch, and the Joe Graham's Monument. The route is mostly off road on small marked trails and foot paths, it follows the River Annan from it source in the Southern Upland range of Hills to the sea on the Solway estuary.
