Route: Bainbridge Island Traverse

Situated six miles west of Seattle, Bainbridge Island is one of the largest islands in the continental United States.

The Bainbridge Island Traverse begins at the island's northern terminus (Agate Point) and continues south 12.9 miles to the southern terminus (South Beach).

There are a number of trails and roads facilitating north-south passage on Bainbridge, though a tour of the western side of the island offers scenic views without the dangers of highway traffic.
