Description
  • Start: Mining Museum in Maiern
    • From the parking area at the South Tyrol Museum of Mining – Ridanna, follow trail no. 9 into the valley.
    • The trail initially leads through the forest and then continues towards Aglsboden.
    • Leave the Aglsboden Alm on your left and continue along trail no. 9 towards the Grohmann Hut.
  • Grohmann Hut
    • Continue uphill to the Grohmann Hut (2,254 m).
    • From here, the trail becomes steeper and the terrain increasingly alpine.
  • Grohmann Hut → Teplitzer Hut
    • Follow trail no. 9 further uphill to the Teplitzer Hut (2,586 m).
  • Teplitzer Hut → Vogelhüttensee
    • Above the Teplitzer Hut, continue on trail no. 9 towards Vogelhüttensee.
    • The terrain is now high alpine, with scree and rocky sections.
    • Several passages are equipped with fixed cables and metal steps.
  • Towards the Becher
    • Continue across the rocky and glacial terrain beneath the Becher peak.
    • The final section becomes steep, with several exposed and secured passages.
    • Follow the marked trail and fixed cables as it climbs in switchbacks towards the Becherhaus.
  • Becherhaus
    • After a demanding final ascent, you reach the Becherhaus at 3,195 m
