Description

This trail is set on an abandoned railway bed which has been converted to an off road hard pack trail in 1996. The route sits upon what is traditionally Haudenosaunee land and was developed in 1894 by the old Toronto, Hamilton and Buffalo Railway (TH&B) which operated until it was abandoned in 1988, after a landslide.

This route is set up as a point to point from Hamilton to Brantford. The trail starts in an urban setting prior to entering Dundas Valley Conservation Area's wooded section. From there it is uphill to the forested corridor which cuts through the rolling farmlands. The trail continues to the Grand River Valley and into the city of Brantford at the end of Beach Road.

You may run either direction.
