Route: Buntsandsteinroute

The Buntsandsteinroute is a trail located in the Eifel, a low mountain range in the state of Northrine Westfalia in Germany.

The trailhead is the train station Kreuzau, the trail ends at the Urfttalsee on top of the dam which has been of the largest back then.

Alongside the trail, there are some nice mottled sand stone formations like the Eugeniensteig which allows scenic views over the Rur valley.
