Description

This shorter trail loop takes you along fast well marked Cotswold trails. It begins just of the road about 1km up from the Rising Sun pub and starts with a short climb before taking you along the edge of the golf course on open flat trails. After passing through several farmyards you hit the woods section where fast flowing trails take you up and down- be warned of some serious hills. You then rise out of the woods to views of Belas Knap and take a long track round to the far end of Cleeve Common. From there you can see the end in sight with the top of Cleeve hill in the distance and panoramic views of Cheltenham and the surrounding area if you get lucky with the weather. Once you hit the top its a fast downhill sprint all the way to the finish.

Luckily the top of Cleeve Hill isn't very far from the finish so you can climb back up the hill to enjoy the views once you've stopped the clock on your FKT attempt.
