Description

This circular route takes in some of the best trails around North Kirklees. Put together by the Dewsbury and District Ramblers Association to celebrate 100 years.
The official start for this is Dewsbury Minster the finish has been move to the Leggers Inn as you can reward yourself with a finish line beverage.

The route follows parts of the Kirklees way, Leeds country way and Spen Valley Heritage Trail. This is mainly a trail run but there are road sections along the way. Does get clogged up with mud following heavy rainfall so pick your day wisely.

Route is well signposted but a couple of reccies will help before hand as there’s a couple of parts that do get confusing.

The route can be broken up into 6 sections which makes reccies easier. Here’s the links to the route descriptions for each section.
