Elfbergenpad means "path of the eleven mountains". "Mountain" is a an exaggeration, when speaking of hills only 50 meters high. But in the Netherlands, 50 meters is a lot.

If you plan to walk in one of the prettiest parts of the Hoge Veluwe, this walk is what you need. The path crosses the vast forests and heaths of this beautiful part of the Netherlands. There is not much asphalt to walk on. The hills on the south side of the Veluwe overlook the Rhine. The trail climbs the fifty meters high Lindeboom Berg, who vied with Amersfoort to be the centre of the Netherlands.
