Route: Fanie Botha Trail (South Africa)

The Fanie Botha Trail begins at the Ceylon Hut. From there, the FKT follows the traditional 5-day hiking route past the Maritzbos, Stables, MacMac and Graskop Huts with the finish being at the president Burger hut. [The green route must be followed in the below link of the map]

The total official distance is approximately 75km with over 3000m of elevation gain. 
Time starts upon departure of the Ceylon hut and ends at the President Burger Hut (or reverse).
