Description

Start anywhere in the town of Grande Cache, Alberta, preferably at one of the local watering holes.  Summit all 6 "Bronze" mountains that surround the town, while running between, and finish in the same spot where you started back in town. This route can be completed in various ways, on whichever trails you choose, and the order of summits does not matter.

The 6 mountains are Louie, Flood, Grande, Hamel, Ambler, and Stearn.  The summits range in elevation from 5,990 ft to 6,980 ft and make up the "Bronze" peaks of a local program, "Passport to the Peaks".  See https://mdgreenview.ab.ca/tourism/grande-cache-attractions/passport-to-the-peaks/

Grande Cache is located on the northern edge of Alberta's Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by alpine peaks and glacial fed rivers, Grande Cache is also host to the Canadian Death Race, an ultra running race held every August.
