Description

This route is a 116 mile loop beginning and ending at Big Creek Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains. The loop goes over both Clingman's Dome and Mount LeConte and also covers some of the best trails in the Park.

? NEW FKT Attempt ? 

Wednesday October 7th I will attempt to break the FKT for Great Smoky Mtn Big Loop. This is a 115 ish mile route with a current record of 37:43:32, I will be doing this unsupported carrying everything except for water. I will start and finish at Chestnut Branch Trailhead, following same route as current record holders Jeff Davis and Jim Flemming.Â
