Description

The Harrimeter is a 45-mile route that roughly follows the perimeter of Harriman State Park in New York. With around 10,000 feet of ascent, this gnarly route showcases some of the park’s most iconic features, including a rugged section of the Long Path, the Lemon Squeeze on the Appalachian Trail, the Valley of the Boulders, Ramapo-Torne, the Russian Bear, sweeping views and along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail, the Egg Boulder, Jackie Jones Fire Tower, the Orak Mansion Ruins, the Irish Potato Boulder, the climb and panorama from Pingyp Mountain, the Timp Pass, and the scenic overlook at the West Mountain Shelter.
