Route: Hertog Limburg Pad (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany)

The Hertog Limburg Pad is a long distance footpath of about 140 km through the old Duchy of Limburg.

The route starts in the residential town of Limbourg sur Vesdre in Belgium and leads (via 's Hertogen-rode/Herzogenrath in Germany) to Rode-le-Duc, Rolduc in Kerkrade in the Netherlands and back via Val Dieu to Limbourg. Since the rroute i circular it is possbile to start and end anywhere along it.

The route is a true voyage of discovery in the trilingual 'Land without Borders', which may serve as a historical model for European unity and cooperation around Limbourg and around Eurode (Kerkrade/Herzogenrath) in the current Meuse-Rhine Euregion.
