Description

The Ice Age Trail runs through Waushara County, with access points on the north and south border of the county. There is also a western border access due to the bifurcation.

The northern border of Waushara County on the IAT is at the corner of AA and Heffron Rd in Heffron, WI. On that intersection there is a restaurant called Raisin' Cane. They are very IAT friendly and will accommodate a parked car or tent camper if you ask nicely ;)

The southern border of Waushara County on the IAT is about 1/2 mile south of the 3rd Ave parking lot on 3rd Ave in Westfield, WI. You will know when you are at the border due to the road changing from gravel to blacktop.

Throughout the route across Waushara County, approximately half the miles are road and half are trail.

Over the course of this run you'll experience hills, flats, fields, forest, single track, roads, lakes, streams... All while traveling on the Ice Age Trail!
