The Juliana trail is a 270 kilometer trail around the Julian Alps, the majority runs through Slovenia but also with a section in Italy. The trail leads through the valleys, passes forests, through urban areas and through wilder areas, along rivers Soča and Sava, along the edge of the Julian Alps and through the beautiful Triglav National Park. The trail is very well marked with signs and has been extensively described in both the New York Times and the Guardian.
