Katoomba 2 Kanangra 2 Katoomba (K2K2K) is an approx 96km return route, starting from the climbers carpark located on Narrowneck Plateau in Katoomba, the route starts along a Firetrail on Narrowneck before dropping off via the Tarros Ladders onto unformed Technical Single Trails out to Kanangra Walls Carpark where after touching the locked gate, you turn around and retrace your steps back to the start point at the climbers carpark at Narrowneck. The whole trail takes you through the Blue Mountains / Kanangra Boyd Wilderness area. After dropping off the Narrowneck Plateau, you pass around the Wild Dog Mountains, then Descending Yellow Pup ridge before crossing the Cox's and Kanangra creek, then ascending the Steep Strongleg ridge out to Cloudmaker, where there is a log book to sign on both the out leg and return leg. This is the highest point on the route. From there you continue onto the Kanangra Walls Plateau to the Carpark, at the half way point.
