Road loop around Lake of Egypt in southern Illinois. Quite a long way around a smaller lake but the lack of roads on the southern side make it longer than expected.
Loop starting in Tunnel Hill, IL at intersection of Tunnel Hill and Creal Springs road, heading north on Creal Springs road to Sulfur Springs Road. Head west to Cobb Hill road and turn north until Lake of Egypt road. Head west again crossing the damn and going through town until making a turn on RT 37, heading south towards Goreville. Remain on RT 37 through Goreville, turning east on Tunnel Hill road and take this back to the beginning of the loop.
Since it's a loop, you can start anywhere and run either direction.
Rolling hills with light or no traffic for most of the loop. Lake of Egypt and downtown Goreville has more traffic, time of day dependent. Each town also has aide available during the day, but not much else outside of town.
