A route that connects Olla de Núria with Olla de Vallter, two well-known routes for the catalan mountain tradition of the natural park of the headwaters of the Ter and Freser that are known separately but that until now had not joined in a single route that, leaving and arriving at Vallter, draws an infinite following the high ridges between 2600 and 2900 meters.

Completed this loop July 25th, 2026, in approx 6h 47min. Unfortunately, my watch died only 500m from the finish, so I understand it could not be considered a verified effort on the route. Link to the effort here https://www.strava.com/activities/19461921044

I will attempt the loop again, hopefully later this summer. Valter, being my local mountains, they are special to me, and having done both loops separately many times before, it was lovely to string them together. Tough terrain with few refueling points its not a route to take lightly, especially with the most technical portions coming in the last third of the route. The weather can be windy and exposed on the ridges, so head out prepared.Â
