Route: Looking Glass Ascent

Looking Glass Rock Trail is an iconic trail located in Pisgah National Forest. Due to its popularity, ease of access, and consistently steep and well maintained path, it is one of the best tests of a runner's uphill threshold climbing ability. This route is for the ascent from the parking lot to the granite face. 

The route climbs steadily, gaining over 500m in 4.8km before descending to the opening on the granite face.
